Can I see what files are in use in a cubby?

o view a list of files that are open for editing in your locally synced cubbies, click the Cubby icon in the notification area (also known as the system tray) and select Files in use.  

How to enable the "Files in use" feature 

  1. You must activate this feature per cubby, as illustrated.
  2. Files must be in a cubby that is syncing to "this computer" (your local computer), as illustrated.
 

What files are shown?
Files must be in a cubby that is syncing to "this computer" (your local computer) and must be open for editing as follows:
  • By a different user
  • By you on the current device
  • By you on a different device
Important: Not all programs keep files open in a way that can be recognized by Cubby. To put it in technical terms, Cubby detects files for which the OpenMode parameter is Read/Write or WriteCommonly used programs that Cubby can track include Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), Adobe Acrobat/Reader, and Windows Media Player. Programs that Cubby cannot track include Photoshop, Notepad++, and Notepad.
